Back-to-back Incentive – Porto, Portugal
Event details
Commissioned by an event agency on behalf of its end client, a German insurance company, I
was entrusted with the organization of their large-scale incentive programs, first in Cádiz and
three years later in Porto, comprising four groups of approximately 350 participants each.
I had overall responsibility for designing, coordinating, and delivering the complete activities
program, overseeing the operational planning, logistics, local suppliers, venues, transportation,
catering, and on-site execution.
Over 10 consecutive days, I developed and managed a diverse program of 12 curated activities,
with an average of 350 participants per day. The program combined cultural, gastronomic, and
leisure experiences, including exclusive walking tours, sailing and speedboat experiences, visits
to a historic sardine factory or an exclusive tuna fishing experience, winery visits and tastings,
and excursions to carefully selected cities nearby. Each activity was designed as a complete
guest experience, incorporating a carefully selected local lunch and ensuring a consistent level
of quality throughout the program.
Delivering a program of this scale required strong project management, detailed logistical
planning, and effective coordination of multiple local partners and suppliers. I was responsible
for ensuring that all activities were delivered smoothly, on schedule, and to the expected quality
standards, while managing the specific requirements of each group throughout the 10-day
program.
