International Convention (Cosmetic sector) – Barcelona

Event details

Led the organization and delivery of an eight-day international incentive event for 2,000 participants from Russia and surrounding countries, which received the Eventoplus 2007 Grand Jury Award.

This was one of the most complex and comprehensive events I managed at that time, involving months of preparation and the coordination of a large network of clients, suppliers, venues, and operational teams. I worked directly with the client and negotiated with suppliers across all areas of the program, overseeing the delivery of the complete guest experience.

The program included cultural and sports activities across several Catalan cities, large-scale transportation operations with a minimum of 50 coaches per service, VIP vehicle coordination, and the management of hostesses, translators, guides, security personnel, and other event staff. I also coordinated hotels, catering and restaurants, as well as large-scale gala dinners for 2,000 guests at iconic venues including Palau Sant Jordi and Montjuïc Castle.

A particularly complex element was the organization of bicycle tours through Barcelona for four groups of 500 participants, requiring detailed route planning, traffic and safety coordination, staffing, and simultaneous management of large groups across the city.

Managing an event of this scale required strong leadership, negotiation, logistical planning, and the ability to coordinate multiple operations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail throughout the eight-day program.
